JANUARY PROGRAM:
Are you ready for 2012 challenge? Here we go…
Using Moda 5” pre-cut charm pack and fabric line is Rouenneries or Douenneries Deux by French General
You can use up to 3 charm packs and any other fabric to make a quilt, table runner, throw, purse, wall hanging…so many possibilities! Now you will have 10 months to create and make. Your project needs to be submitted by November’s meeting and at that time they will be judged. There will be prizes…GOOD LUCK! Check with the local quilt stores…if they don’t have it, have them order it.
For the BOM, we will be using a pattern from craftsy.com. You will need to log on to www.craftsy.com, select ”online classes” then scrolled down to “Block of the Month” and enroll. This is FREE. Once you have enrolled, you will have access to the instructions and supply list. There will be 2 blocks per month and will have a sample to show. When making your block, how about making an extra for a charity quilt?

Show and Tell is an exciting part of our meeting and this is well looked forward to each month. It inspires all of us to finish our UFOs to show. One little note on this: If you have made numerous items all the same, in the interest of time, please show us your favorite.
